Reserve Early
Be sure to make your reservations as early as possible. We book quickly during holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July and spring break. Summer months can be busy too with lots of family vacations. If you would like to schedule boarding, please book online under the reservations tab, or call us at: 503-968-2545. *We will not accept reservations exceeding 30 days.
Prepare your cat
Cats tend to get excited when they are taken in a vehicle. For this reason, we recommend you do not overfeed your kitty at home prior to the ride. Their tummy may become upset. Cats can also sense your anxiety, so help them feel calm by example. If you are calm and comfortable your kitty is more likely to feel the same way.
Vaccinations
We require our guests to be current on their upper respiratory vaccine (FVRCP). Our guests must have had their upper respiratory vaccine within a year of their boarding dates. Since guests do not have any cat-to-cat contact, we do not require rabies or any other vaccines.
Communication
Please make sure to inform us if your cat has any special needs, like problems jumping up, hearing or sight problems, or any health concerns. We want to provide the best possible care for your cat and knowing all the details will help us do just that! If your cat loves being brushed, or likes to play with a certain type of toy, let us know so we can make them feel at home during their stay.
Please let us know the dates you intend on checking in and checking out. Be sure to have contact phone numbers for us in case of an emergency. We will also need the phone number to your regular veterinarian so we can verify vaccine information.
Bedding & Toys
If your pet has special bedding, please bring it, but we ask that you provide bedding that can be laundered if needed. You are welcome to bring anything you think would make your cat's stay more comfortable.
Food
Our prices include two meals per day. We serve Science Diet Adult formula in wet and dry varieties, and Friskies in wet and dry. We carry several different flavors of each. If your cat prefers a special kind of food, please bring enough with you for the entire stay. If your cat is on a prescription diet, please make sure you bring enough for the entire reservation.
Medication
If your take will need medication during their stay, please bring enough medication for the duration of the stay along with anything needed to dispense the medication. If your cat is diabetic, make sure you bring enough needles with you for each day your cat will board.
